BBSRC IFF - jak napisać aplikację na grant?

Mam grant na kolejne 6 miesęcy, czyli jeszcze trochę popracuję w Manchesterze.
I mam więcej czasu na spokojne skończenie doktoratu.
I powoli spełniam swoje postanowienia noworoczne ;-)))

Co było ważne w tej aplikacji?

To grant z firmą partnerską (tak to po polsku będzie? ;P industrial partner - partnerem przemysłowym?), dostałam dobry list (cover letter) od nich, fajnie napisany. Sama aplikacja nie taka długa, chyba 5 sekcji po 200-250 słów, nie tak dużo. Warte podkreślenia było jak to nasza współpraca jest ważna i pożyteczna, i że na prawdę mnie tam chcą ;) No i będę kontynuować to, co do tej pory robiłam, więc mam doświadcznie i preliminary data. Poszło. Pomógł profesor, bo przepisał to co ja napisałam, używając ładnych profesjonalnych słów, których jeszcze po angielsku mi brakuje. Kopiuję trochę dla przykładu, może komuś się przyda..

This project will examine the wider picture of how best to interface between a leading academic research institute and a growing ... development SME, especially exposure to the working demands of the two environments and the wider opportunities that each may offer. This learning process will guide the longer-term plan. However, some opportunities are readily identifiable today.
